From a Clinic in Karachi to a Global Platform
AskMedix was founded by Dr. Javed Kumbhar, a board-certified internal medicine physician with over two decades of clinical practice. After witnessing how often patients arrived at appointments already confused, frightened, and misinformed, Dr. Kumbhar set out to build something better.
The premise was straightforward: the quality of medical education available to patients should not depend on their geography, income, or access to elite healthcare systems. A patient in rural Sindh deserves the same clarity as a patient at a teaching hospital in London.
Today, AskMedix operates with a panel of 120+ verified physicians across 28 specialties, serving patients in over 45 countries. Every answer is evidence-based, every physician is board-certified, and every interaction is private and secure.
